DR. BRIAN D. KARRIKER, D.D.S.
Gastonia, NC is a familiar town for Dr. Karriker, having been born in this town and having family ties to this town as far back into the 1700s. Dr. Karriker grew up in Kernersville, NC. Following high school, he embarked on a lengthy academic and research journey, graduating Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina State University in 2006, and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery, with honors, from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2010. During this time, Dr. Karriker was very involved in extensive research, having co-authored and been involved in numerous studies involving reactive oxygen species at National Institutes of Health, fluorosis studies at UNC, to name a few. He was also a member of both Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Societies. ​ After establishing a successful practice in Mooresville, NC, Dr. Karriker desired to return to his family roots and start a new office in Gastonia, NC. Dr. Karriker is married to a wonderful lady and a proud father of two wonderful boys and a beautiful daughter. Aside from enjoying his family, Dr. Karriker thoroughly enjoys gardening and horticulture.
Dr. Kyle Bell, DDS
Dr. Bell grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. After his time there, he relocated to Chapel Hill where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of North Carolina. During training, Dr. Bell developed a strong interest in restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and oral surgery.Since beginning practice, Dr. Bell has focused on providing compassionate patient-centered care that helps people feel comfortable in the dental chair. He especially enjoys working with anxious patients and striving to make every visit a positive experience.Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bell enjoys weightlifting, traveling, and watching any and every sport that’s on TV. Dr. Bell is excited to be a part of the Catawba Creek Dental team and looks forward to building long-term relationships with patients while helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.
KIM L. OFFICE MANAGER
Kim has over 20 years of dental office experience. She can answer most dental related questions and has extensive knowledge in dental insurance. Kim is from northern Michigan and has lived in North Carolina since 2013. She has two grown children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and camping.
